It’s that time again! This weekend marks the beginning of our 2nd SWW! This time, we have even more fun games, challenges and prizes! We have a little twist on how it will be given away and the challenge around it, so stay tuned to the forums for information on that and all the other fabulous, fun happenings at Sunshine Studio Scraps starting this Sunday, July 27!And because we can, we are going to tease you with what part of (hint, hint) the mini-kit looks like. Friday’s here!! And that means that we’re finally revealing who the new Sunshine Girls are!! This week we’re going to do a lift with not one, but two twists! So basically you have to scraplift this layout by Franziska. But you have to flip it, rotate it, turn it 180… whatever! Just change it in some way!
I know, I know. That’s only one twist! Well here’s the second one. See how Ziska’s picture matches the kit (Bohemian Rock Candy, which is on sale this week) perfectly? The pink and the pink, the blue and the blue, (and there’s actually green in the kit to match that green light!) and even the guitar and the guitar! LOL. You can interpret this twist in any way you’d like. You can match colors or you can match themes, but you have to match something! Tell us what it is in the credits too.

Hello there! Sunshine Sweetie Crystal here with our next Sunshine Blog Challenge! This week’s challenge will focus on journaling. I don’t know about you, but journaling is something that I really wish I did more often. I know that I’ll look back on all my scrapbook pages years from know, and I’ll most likely remember the event but will I remember how I felt, or some of the special details? Or what about when I pass these books onto my son? He might not even know why I scrapped certain moments unless I include at least a few sentences to explain it.
We also want to focus on Summer this week, and what this season means to you. I know that it tends to bring with it some extra special memories. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- No School
- Family Vacations
- Summer Camp
- Fun Summer Holidays
- Summer Lovin’
What does Summer mean to you? Are there things that you did as a child that you still do as an adult? Do you share these things with your own children? We want you to create a layout about whatever Summer means to you, and you need to include at least a paragraph of journaling.

Hi there! Sunshine Sweetie Crystal here with a new Blog Challenge! This week is a Color Challenge! The palette we’re going to use is inspired by Kristi’s Oceanside Kit, which she was sweet enough to put on sale this week just for the challenge!
Here is the color palette:
You’ll need to use at least three of these colors in your layout. You don’t have to use Oceanside, you can use anything you want as long as it matches the three colors you’ve chosen to work with!
