Wow!  What a month we have had here at the SUN!  Our first ever Scrap Idol contest was such a fun and exciting time for everyone!  We had 69 participants who created over 2,100 layouts during the month of September – 1,400 of which came from our top 10 alone!  We had 2 people create over 300 layouts during the month, and 3 people who created over 100 layouts during the month!  Don’t worry – their hard work didn’t go unnoticed..  In the 5 days after the contest, over 2,400 comments were left in the galleries, helping bring a little ray of sunshine to each and every person’s day… There were good times and bad times, and even up-all-night times, but in the end, I think it’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed themselves and should be very proud of the amazing amount of work they put into making the contest great..  Not to mention the fantastic layouts you now have to show for yourselves…

Before I announce the winners, I’ll give a quick re-cap of the various prizes…

Scrap Idol: A layout artist selected by the SUN staff from amongst the top 10 posters for his/her incredible display of mad scrapping skills. This person will be offered a guest spot on the SUN Creative Team for a 3-month period.
Scrap Idol Runners-Up: Two people selected by the SUN staff from the top 10 posters will be awarded a guest spot on the SUN Creative Team for a 1 month period each.
Top Poster: The person who creates & uploads the most layouts into the gallery during the month of September receives a $50 Gift Certificate to the store.
Most Comments: The person who leaves the most comments in the Scrap Idol galleries will receive the kit of their choice from the store.

Hi Everyone!! This is my first time hosting the Lyric challenge so it took me a while to pick out lyrics that were just right. My husband recently sang this amazing song at a wedding and it extremely touched my heart. Here are the lyrics and here is a youtube video if you’d like to hear the song.
