HI! It’s Sharon, or as many of you know me, graciesgram. Time for another SPEED SCRAP!

OOPS! I was supposed to do a Speed Scrap for Week 2, but totally spaced it, which is a common occurrence for me these days. Since no one signed up for Week 3, I decided to go ahead and do it this week. I know many of you would like daytime crops, but it is just not possible for me to do that right now, but hopefully someone who is available during the day will sign up soon.

For this week I am going to do the Speed Scrap at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 19. I hope this earlier start will allow some more of you to participate. Let’s meet in the Chat Room at 8 p.m. and party!

I will give one instruction each 10 minutes for an hour. You will then have one hour and 15 minutes to complete and upload your layout to the Speed Scrap Gallery and to the Speed Scrap Forum. Be sure to link back to the Gallery and to provide credits for your products. Then go to the December Points Tracker and record your links so you can earn points toward product.

I hope to see lots of you in the Chat Room. If you have never done a Speed Scrap before, you are in for a real treat! See you Saturday, December 19 at 8 p.m.

Hi! It’s Sharon (graciesgram) with the AD CHALLENGE.  In this challenge I am providing an ad for you to look at and use as inspiration for a layout. Let somethin, ANYTHING  in the ad be your inspiration for you own creation. I chose a Martha Stewart ad from her LIVING magazine. I was drawn in my the brigfht red and the bug circular shape. Here it is:

Now it is YOUR TURN! Create your layout and post it in the Ad Challenge Gallery, then post in the Forum in the Ad Challenge section and be sure to link back to the gallery. Finally, be sure to add the link to the Point Tracker section of the Forum so you can get points toward product!

HI EVERYONE! It’s Sharon (graciesgram) back to wish you a late Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a chance to enjoy good food and visit with loved ones and friends. Naturally you all took lots of photos so here is a chance to make use of them. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29, at  8 P.M. ET we will be meeting once again in the Chat area to our Speed Scrap underway. This one is called a MYSTERY SCRAP, so join us to see what it is all about. When your layout is completed you will want to post it in the Gallery and then link it back to the Speed Scrap spot in the Forum. Next be sure to post it on your Points Tracker so you will get credit for your work and points toward product.

Hello everyone! It is Sharon (graciesgram) here to bring you some news that should make lots of folks happy.

Finally a daytime Speed Scrap for all our friends around the world who are sleeping during our usual late night parties. We welcome everyone to join in the fun on Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m. ET. I sure hope this fits in with everyone’s schedule.

We’ll meet in the Chat Room a few minutes before 2 and get acquainted and then right about 2, I will begin giving the instructions for your layouts. Every 10 minutes you’ll get another instruction. At the end of an hour you will get the final one and then have one hour and fifteen minutes to complete your layout and upload it to the gallery and to this site and link them. Be sure to post the link in your Points Tracker.

I have had some requests for  DAYTIME SPEED SCRAPS. I am vey willing to do that. I would like to hold them at times when we can get the most people. Have you ever had a party when no one showed up? If so you know how the people feel who host events here at Sun and are there all alone, or they create something special for you to download, and no one takes it. Please be sure to support the people who work so hard for you. ENOUGH OF MY BABBLING!

WHEN do you want these daytime Speedscraps to be held? I am willing to do them any day including Saturday and Sunday, and since I don’t sleep much, I could do them most any time–unless I do fall asleep and then mornings would be out for sure! Seriously, please respond here, in the forum or PM me (graciesgram) and let me know what works for you or  if you have better idea that will allow more people to participate. I hope to hear from you soon. I will give it a week and get back to you next Friday and let you know what we discover. Put those creative minds to work and send me suggestions, please.

Hi! It’s graciesgram (Sharon) here to invite YOU to join us this Saturday night, October 10 at 10:30 p.m. for a lot of fun at our Speed Scrap. Just in case you are not sure what that means, I’ll fill you in. We will gather in the chat room at 10:30 and I will give one instruction every ten minutes for one hour. It will be things you need to know to create a layout, such as select 3 papers. Choose 2 photos. Put a frame around each photo. Add 6 elements, etc……. At the end of the first hour you will have all the instructions and then you have one more hour to complete your layout and upload it to the gallery and link it to the forum. Once they are all turned in, I will PM you with a prize for participating. Be sure to post it on the Points Tracker.  That’s about it. We always have lots of fun chatting while we work. Be sure to join us for this special event. SEE YOU SATURDAY!

It’s Sharon back again. This time I have the AUGUST DESKTOP CHALLENGE for you.  Stop over at the RACETRACK to get the templates and be sure to post your desktop in the gallery and link us to it. Also add the links to the Points Tracker for August as soon as it is up. I hope August is a great month for you. School starts around here on the 11th for lots of kids. Hi, it’s Sharon again. Listening to all the wonderful music this past week on television and radio, I decided that a tribute to Michael Jackson would be appropriate for your Lyrics Challenge. All my life I have just listened and enjoyed music without really paying any attention to the names of the artists. I just know what I like to hear, and usually have to get advice from people who do know the various artists if I want to buy the music. I was actually surprised to hear how many of my favorites were actually written or recorded by Michael. Given the joy he brought to all of us with his music, I decided that SMILE would be my choice for the week. I don’t even know who wrote it, I just found it on a list of his music and decided it would be a good choice for this week. I hope you smile as you work on this project and maybe even listen to some of his music.
